Cool Kids Online is an online program that is designed to help children who have fears and worries.

The program teaches children new skills to help them

- deal with fears and worries,

- feel more confident, and

- have more fun.

The Cool Kids Online Program has 8 online lessons (with practice exercises) that are released over 10 weeks. Children have a coach (a parent or carer) who completes the program with them. Every lesson also has a coach section with information especially for coaches. Coaches will receive pre-scheduled clinician support calls from a psychologist to assist with the program.

Currently, the Cool Kids Online Program is taking new enquiries as a fee-paying service through the Centre for Emotional Health Clinic. There are no longer funded-places available through research.

Some tips to reduce technological problems include:

-         Make sure that “pop-ups” are enabled on your computer or tablet

-         The program works best using Google Chrome

-         If you are using a tablet, hold the tablet in landscape orientation (horizontally) when using the Cool Kids site. Also note that on apple handheld devices, some features of the website will require a double-press.
